For a Sunday, it was busy AND cordial. For being the only waitress, Kaylee, was fantastic! She didn't have to make excuses because she was 100% dialed in to make everyone's night enjoyable. As it got busy, the bartender came from behind the bar to help, while the owner shifted behind the bar. .... What fantastic teamwork!ALL the food was fantastic and so was the entertainment. 50's & 60's music.We definatly will come by boat, plenty of parking for cars or boat. OH, by the way, bring your appetite!! There is surprisingly HUGE portions. This is as close to the Northern Wisconsin Supper Club as you can get.

Good fair priced food, screwed up service 3 in a row. Still may go back for the kitchen part of the business.

Good drinks, great outdoors seating.We still have to go and try out the food, but we enjoyed the refreshing drinks, and the friendly service and a nice large rear deck with tables and chairs. We docked our boats on their piers and it was not too busy on a Sunday afternoon. There was also space for proper Social Distancing.

Went there with some good friends who go there all the time. Good pizza! Good fried Mushrooms. The Clams were undercooked, but they took them off the bill. Nice Lake atmosphere.

Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine, great bar selection, great ambiance! The wait staff is quick to serve. Nice outdoor eating space in good weather. You'll think you flew to Italy when you taste the food! If you're lucky you will meet the owners that treat you like family. A chain o lakes must.

The food was good. The live music was delightful. The service was fine, not spectacular. Our only complaint was Maria, the manager or owner. I found her to be rude to customers and almost irritated by our presence. Would return but would hope for a better reception from management.

Had dinner there about a year and a half ago. Ordered spaghetti- no taste, no spices at all, about as drab and tasteless as food can get. Waitress was no help, asked if the cooks knew what they were doing- answer was "I don't know". Cannot recommend this place, probably 2 stars is 2 too many but other people eat there for some reason.

Just average. Dive bar kind of feel. Honestly the food is pretty much Italian bar food. Wait Service and food delivery was very slow even though we came towards end of lunch service when it was slow.

I grew up in Cicero so I know good pizza and this is the real deal! Best thin crust around, and the parmesan sandwiches are crunchy cheesy deliciousness too...go already!

One of the best Italian restaurants in the entireChicagoland area, let alone Antioch IL! Italian food is my favorite and I have been to all of the greats in Chicago and this place is right there with them and in many ways better. The food at Rosie’s is fresh, homemade and full of flavor. The menu is full of classics and some different dishes that keep it interesting too. Lunch, dinner or later - this place is amazing!! The staff there is super friendly and very accommodating as well. I brought in a large group of people for dinner on a Friday night and the wait was minimal even tho the place was packed. Every time I go there the place is loaded with customers that seem to come from all over the place to eat there. I love it at Rosie’s and will be back soon !

The food and people are amazing...

Food was really good. The service was not. It was not busy inside or outside where we were. We only saw our server 5 times and it took to the end of our meals for one of our party to get her fries.

It was decent food. Could have some healthier choices. The waitress was not very good sorry to say. I would go back though

I have tried just about everything on their menu and it was fantastic! They make you feel at home with their service and the prices are very reasonable. They have a deck outside on the lake and plenty of docks so you can boat there too. They also have a nice bar if you just want to relax and have some adult beverages. I found some of the negative reviews comical. It is NOT fine dining. A couple of people were rating it as if they were at a posh dining spot in the heart of Chicago.

The owners and staff here are the most friendly, great people...I have to underscore that. They are super. Accessible by watercraft, and a large outdoor patio, the food is good, not the best I have ever had, but it is solid for sure; probably on the side of really good given the feel and aesthetic of the place. I had the Shrimp Dejong, and she had the Chicken Parm. The soup came out cool and the salads looked to be made earlier in the day or the day before. The chicken was definitely better than the shrimp which was overcooked and over breadcrumbed. Their red sauce is probably some of the better sauce I've had in the area. My only real "warning" is that it's a bar with good food, not a restaurant that has a bar...it feels a little divey (which I love) but might not be right if you're looking for a restaurant, per se. I'll be back, and I hope you check it out, if for any reason, just to patronize an establishment run by good, friendly people who seem to care.

This is a great place with awesome food! My family and I took a trip up to Fox Lake area and ate her almost every weekend this season. The service has always been 5 Stars, and the people who run the restaurant are very personable and accommodating (we have small children). If you’re on the lake looking for great Italian food, this is the place for you! I recommend their lasagna!

I wish I could give them a better review. The outside eating needs work. If you get "sea sick" the deck is likely to give you issues. As every person that walks on this deck bounces around like a dock. It was nauseating at times. Ordered a ceasar salad that was disappointing since it was only 7pm and they said they "ran out" That means someone forgot to order the dressing. Either make your own or run to Walmart and get some dressing. 7pm on a Friday night is not a good time to run out of something at a Restaurant who orders your supplies? It was busy but not that busy. Ordered the gnocchi it was very watery, very little flavor with the sauce which seemed to change the texture of the gnocchi to watery dough did not even want to take it home. We also had the sausage and peppers it was nothing to "write home" about either which again was sad. I really wanted to like this place but it's very likely we will not return.

Went in on a week day. Was just us and another couple. Service was slow. Ordered bruschetta and soup with our meals. Bruschetta came out in good time. Bruschetta was very good. Wasnt sure we were going to get our soup before our meal. Took forever. Like she forgot about it. Soup wasnt that good. Ordered two pasta dishes thinking we covered the buy one get on half off. Wrong. I ordered chicken parmigian she ordered stuffed shells. Both were ok. Parmesan was short on sauce. Shells were watery. Was explained to that the 50 percent off was only on pasta. That's it. Was there previously and had a great experience. Didn't get pictures on the second visit. But I'll post from our first visit. May go back. Depends on if we want to roll the dice or not.

Maybe the best fried calamari I've had in the Midwest! Great variety of good Italian foods (so far I've really enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs, pizza, and potato chowder) Good beer selection, Great people. Nestled in the lakeshore, you'll not see the restaurant from the road—recommend you set it on your Google maps and soon! I plan to go back early and often.

The most enchanting restaurant in the Fox Lake area, the food is genuine Italian and the owners are committed to providing an excellent dining experience. The mood is casual but the service is professional. It is a hidden jewel in an otherwise lack luster choice of dining experiences in the area. You will not be able to resist returning and often. I can recommend Rosie's without reservation

Looking up places to eat outside and enjoy the nice weather .. came across Rosie's so decided to give it a try ... quite impressed .. calamari was fresh and tasty .. bruschetta with fresh mozzarella and balsamic very good .... so much food come hungry ... what really made my night was our server Gianna an awesome young lady , she was a blast .. have no idea what the review about no masks was about everyone here is totally conscious of the laws and wore masks .. I will definitely be back thank you guys

My favorite place to eat the best Italian. The food reminds me of hearty home cooked Italian like my Grandma used to make and the owners Lou and Maria treat everybody like family. Always so much I need a to go container. My wife and I travel over 45 mins to eat here as often as possible. Well worth the trip every time. Thanks Rosie's!

Food is delicious! True Italian food! The owner, Maria is a delight. Paul our server probably the best I've ever had (efficient and friendly). Not to mention she has Peroni beer. 5 stars +.

We have gone for pizza by boat several times and this is by far the BEST pizza we have had!! Went last night and we chatted with the owner & asked her about her story with owning the bar. So nice to hear how taking a risk pays off, hard work is key & friendly service is what sells!!!! What great customer service, food & atmosphere!! Will surely be going back often!!

Great place to meet and have a good dinner, friendly staff and good atmosphere.Gave 4 star only because Pizza had too much cheese and could have been cooked a little longer. Still good ! And overall everone in the group enjoyed their sandwiches ,awesome grinders.
